Dana Mazzenga is a passionate, playful, M.F.A.'d actor and storyteller based in Brooklyn, NY.
She is a proud member of Actors Equity and enjoys workshopping new material more than most anything else. After all, the joy is in the making of the thing! Lyle Kessler's Masterclass, LAByrinth, The Actors Studio PDU, The Chain Theatre and Speranza Theatre Company have been her most recent playgrounds for embodying new characters.
As a writer, Dana develops her own material, including a tele-series she began writing under the mentorship of Austin Chick, as well as a number of short stories and, most recently, a one woman show and her first full length play. She is also the content and grants manager for Sounds of Saving - a 501c3 nonprofit organization that operates at the crossroads where music and mental health meet.
Oh yeah, and she's a mother of two... definitely her best creations yet!
