Dana Mazzenga is a passionate, playful, M.F.A.'d actor and writer based in Brooklyn, NY.
Having stepped away from her career for years so that she could focus on raising a family, she has returned - kiddies in school! - to her craft with gusto, armed with more life under her belt and some silvery hairs, too.
Dana prefers exercising her acting muscles weekly in Lyle Kessler’s Masterclass over working out in an actual gym any day and has enjoyed workshopping and reading new material there, as well as at LAByrinth, The Actors Studio PDU and The Bridge Production Group.
Her spare time belongs to developing her own material, including a tele-series she began writing under the mentorship of Austin Chick. She has also had the great pleasure of helping on the production end of Sounds of Saving - a 501c3 nonprofit organization merging music and mental health.
