Dana Mazzenga is a passionate, playful, M.F.A.'d actor and writer based in Brooklyn, NY.
Having stepped away from her career for years so that she could focus on raising a family, it took a world-wide pandemic for Dana to realize she needed to make her way back. Now that the kids are in school, she has returned to her craft with gusto, armed with more life under her belt and some silvery hairs, too.
Dana prefers exercising her acting muscles in Lyle Kessler’s Workshop over working out in an actual gym any day and, since her return, has enjoyed participating in readings for LAByrinth, The Actors Studio and The Bridge Production Group.
Her spare time belongs to developing her own material, including a tele-series she began writing under the mentorship of Austin Chick. She has also had the great pleasure of helping on the production end of Sounds of Saving - a 501c3 nonprofit organization merging music and mental health.
